Frosted Candy Cane Nails

Hey guys! So I just made this nail art design for you, again, perfect for the holidays! So this design is kind of like an 'upgraded' version of the Easy Candy Cane Nails. Instead of a red background, I used a glittered one and then drew some red and white stripes across it. While the Easy Candy Cane Nails is great for casual wear, this design is perfect for holiday parties!

So here are the nail polishes and tools that I used:

From left to right:

• Caronia Nail Hardener and Base Coat
• Sweet Cherry Nail Polish in "Silver Glitter"
• Twinkle Nail Polish in "Gold Glitter"
• Caronia Nail Polish in "Frosted Red Pearl"
• LA Colors Art Deco in "White" (you may also use a detail brush and white nail polish)
• a detail brush
• Caronia Fast Dry Top Coat

Here's how:

1. After applying your base coat, apply two coats each of the silver glitter and gold glitter alternately.
   


2. Using a detail brush dipped in frosted red color, draw some thick diagonal lines across the nail. Then, using LA Colors Art Deco in white, draw a thick diagonal line on one side of the red and thin ones on the other side.
   


3. Wait for the nail polishes to dry and then apply top coat. That's it! Make sure to clean the edges with a cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover for that clean, tidy look. And don't forget to apply top coat after two days in order to maintain your mani.

Easy Candy Cane Nails

Hey everyone! So here’s another nail art tutorial for you which is perfect for the holidays! I call it Easy Candy Cane Nails. Now I don’t take full credit for this design because I know that there has been a lot of people who has done this nail art before I did, but I just thought that it would be cool to share with you guys how I do it :)

So for the nail polishes and tools, you would need the following:

From left to right:

• Caronia Nail Hardener and Base Coat
• Caress Nail Polish in "Jealousy"
• LA Colors Art Deco in "White" (you may also use a white nail polish and detail brush if you don't have the Art Deco)
• Caronia Fast Dry Top Coat

Here are the steps:

1. Start with your base coat. Then, apply two coats of the red color.


2. Using LA Colors Art Deco in white (or a detail brush dipped in white nail polish), draw some thick diagonal lines across the nail. Then, apply think diagonal lines beside the thick ones.
   


3. Wait for the nail polishes to dry and then apply top coat. And you're done! As always, you may reapply top coat after two days in order to maintain your mani.

'Frostree' Nails

Hey ladies! The holidays are fast approaching so today we're gonna be doing this nail design which is a perfect casual nail design for the holidays. I call them "Frostree Nails" (kind of like a combination of Frosty and Tree). As you can see there's some sort of a green inverted triangle on it --- this represents our Tree. And those white star-looking things around it are our Frost. This is a relatively easy design, however I must say that you might be having a little difficulty with the Frosts. If you are, here are my suggestions, you can ask your friend (or mother/sister/even your boyfriend!) to do the Frosts for you. You can also just use some ready made frost stickers and just stick them to your nails, or you can just use tiny dots instead (using a toothpick as your dotting tool).

So here are the nail polishes and tools that I used for this nail design:

From left to right:

• Caronia Nail Hardener and Base Coat
• Klik Nail Polish in "Baby Blue"
• Klik Nail Polish in "Frosted Blue Pearl"
• Caress Nail Polish in "Green Minded"
• Caress Nail Polish in "Avocado"
• LA Colors Art Deco in "White" -- you can buy this at Metro Ayala Department Store.
• (optional) Sweet Cherry Nail Polish in "Glitter Silver" or Twinkle Nail Polish in "Glitter Gold"
• Caronia Fast Dry Top Coat
• Detail Brush --- you can also use this instead if you can't find the LA Colors Art Deco. Just make sure that the white nail polish that you use has a thicker consistency so that you won't be having a hard time creating the Frosts.

So here are the steps:

1. Apply your base coat. Then, apply two coats of the Regular Baby Blue color. Wait for a few minutes and then apply one coat of the Frosted Blue Pearl color.


2. Taking the Green Minded color nail polish, put some of it on a piece of paper. Then grab your detail brush and dip it unto the nail polish. Draw a V-shaped outline extending from the center of your nail to the tip.
3. Then, taking your detailed brush again, dip this unto the Avocado color nail polish and fill in the space between your V outline.
4. Using LA Colors Art Deco in white (or a detail brush dipped in white nail polish), draw some star shaped frosts all over your nail.


5. Wait for the nail polishes to be fully dried and then apply your top coat.
   Useful tip: Maintain your mani by applying top coat every two days.

Done! You may also add a layer of silver/gold glitters for a more frosted look.

Mr. Snowman Nails

Hey ladies! Here's another cute nail design which is perfect for the upcoming holiday season. I call it "Mr. Snowman". This is a relatively easy design and you don't need many tools for this, but it's up to you to be resourceful and find useful stuff that can help you make this design so much easier :)

So to start off, here are the nail polishes that I used:

From left to right:

• Caronia Nail Hardener and Base Coat
• Klik Nail Polish in "Baby Blue"
• Klik Nail Polish in "Frosted Blue Pearl"
• Sweet Cherry Nail Polish in "Silver Glitter"
• Caress Nail Polish in "Jealousy"
• Caress Nail Polish in "Snow White"
• A toothpick
• Caronia Fast-Dry Top Coat

Here are the steps:

1. First, apply your base coat. Then, apply two layers of the baby blue color and a layer of the frosted blue pearl. Then, apply one layer of silver glitter.
   



2. Then, using the brush tip of your white nail polish, dot a big circle near the tip of your nail. Dot a smaller circle on top.
   



3. Using a toothpick dipped in red color, draw the scarf, hat, smiley face and three buttons on your snowman. Dot a white color at the tip of the hat.



4. Wait for the nail polishes to be fully dried and then apply your top coat.

Done! Useful tip: Maintain your manicure by applying top coat every two days.

Pink Bug Nails

Hey ladies! Here's another fun and cool nail design which I call "Pink Bug". This was inspired by one of my pyjamas, which has this cute design of pink bugs all over :)

So here are the tools and nail polishes that I used:

From left to right:

• Caronia Base Coat and Nail Hardener
• Caress Nail Polish in "Jealousy"
• Enchant Nail Polish in "Hot Pink"
• Caress Nail Polish in "Snow White"
• Caronia Fast-Dry Top Coat
• a detail brush
• a toothpick

And for the steps:

1. First, apply your base coat. Then, apply two layers of the hot pink color.


2. Using your detail brush dipped in red color, draw an outline (like an inverted "Y") at the center of the nail. Fill the middle portion with the red color.
   


3. Using a toothpick dipped in white color, dot some random spots on the pink sides of the nail.
   


4. Finish off with a top coat after the nail polishes dry.

Midnight Blues Nail Design

Here's another fun and cool nail design for you! I call it "Midnight Blues" coz it kinda reminds of the night.

This design was actually inspired by a glass of soda! I was having lunch one time a foodshoppe and I saw this glass with the same design and has Coke soda in it, and I thought it would be a really cool design for the nails :)

So to start off, here are the tools and nail polishes that I used:

From left to right:

• Caronia Base Coat and Nail Hardener
• Caress Nail Polish in "Magic Black"
• Caress Nail Polish in "Mango"
• Klik Nail Polish in "Baby Blue"
• Fire Nail Polish in "Patent Blue"
• Caronia Fast Dry Top Coat
• a toothpick
• (optional) detail brush

Here are the steps:

1. First, apply your base coat. Then, apply two layers of the black color.



2. Using a toothpick dipped in the patent blue color, draw an elongated dot at the center of the nail. Then, outline the patent blue with the baby blue color. Lastly, draw a yellow outline around the baby blue color (make it look like a square with blunt corners).
   



3. Finish off with a top coat after the nail polishes dry.

Funky Pink Nails

Hey ladies! Here's another simple nail design that you can wear for everyday. It's fun, cute, and very easy to do! All you need for the tools is an old screw that has a flat head. You may also use a detail brush but it's not necessary.

So here are the nail polishes that I used:

From left to right:

• Caronia Nail Hardener and Base Coat
• Enchant Nail Polish in "Hot Pink"
• Caress Nail Polish in "Avocado"
• Fire Nail Polish in "Patent Blue"
• Caronia Fast-Dry Top Coat
• an old screw with a flat head
• a toothpick
  
• (optional) detail brush
  

Here's how:

1. Apply your base coat. Then, apply two layers of the hot pink color.



2. Using a toothpick dipped in blue color, draw a solid square at one corner of the nail. Then, using the flat head of an old screw dipped in the avocado green color, gently stamp a circle at the outer corner of the square.
   




3. Using the tip of your nail polish brush, dot a smaller circle at the opposite corner of the square. For your other nails, do the same design but alternate the colors (green for the square, blue for the circles).



4. Wait for the nail polish to dry and then add top coat.
   

Done! And as always, maintain your mani by reapplying top coat after two days.

Framed Heart Nail Design

Okay, I know Valentine's Day is still two months away but I just can't resist making a heart-inspired nail design that's wearable on any occasion, may it be formal or casual =)

Here are the tools and nail polishes that you'd need (you may use other brands of course, *wink*)


From left to right:

• Caronia Nail Hardener and Base Coat
• Enchant Nail Polish in "Hot Pink"
• Caronia Nail Polish in "Frosted Golden Mauve"
• A toothpick as your dotting tool
  
• Caress Nail Polish in "Snow White"
• Caronia Fast-Dry Top Coat

Here's how:

1. After applying your base coat, apply two layers of the hot pink color. Then, frame your nail with the frosted golden mauve color.



2. Using a toothpick dipped in the frosted golden mauve, draw a heart shape at the center and outline the heart with a white color.
   



3. Wait for the nail polish to dry and then apply top coat.
